The future demands a transition to a circular & sustainable fashion future - a world in which materials can be used and reused
at their highest potential. Evolv is pushing the boundaries of the circular fashion industry by transforming waste into value
The Evolv circular design innovation called on designers, engineers, tailors, and suppliers to join us in creating a more
sustainable future. Specifically, we look at like-minded organisations around the globe to partner with us in addressing two
Design with purpose: How might we create new products that adds something to the fashion industry and innovate new ways to make things better?
How might we develop new technologies to advance garment recycling/reuse or have an increased lifespan?
Being an active member of BCI (Better Cotton Initiative), we sought to inspire the creation of products that improve the lives of the people who use them, while also reducing waste at the same time. We challenge ourselves to always look for better and more sustainable alternatives in fabrics to design and put that across the production plan in early stages of prototyping.
Both small companies and global corporations are asking similar questions about the future of our craft and our world. How can we inform a better future? And how can we create something that endures, from the first consumer to the last?
We at Evolv understand the importance of a brand’s DNA. An important part of our initial design process is to align with the customer’s DNA and form a trend conception around it.
When we create with a curious, “what if” ethos, we pass that same ethos on to our consumers through products that encourage their own exploration. We understand that limited resources demand a transition to a circular fashion industry, a world in which materials can be used and reused at their highest potential—and that’s why we have an in-house design team to look after it. Evolv consistently encourages designers to question assumptions at every stage of the design process, from concept to execution. Nothing is off limits.
